Sarada Nya

IMG_3759-2Mrs. Nya is an international lawyer. She started her career as a Corporate Governance and Contract liabilities assistant at AXA Investment Managers in France and then joined the Legal team of Tarkett industrial Group as an International in house Counsel.

She has experience in Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity working for Pinot de Villechenon, a Law firm specialized in Private Equity, for Dalkia, the energy industrial group, and finally for Pinsent Masons LLP, a British business law firm.

Native of Cameroon, she started her studies with two years of political sciences at the University of Buea. Then she left Cameroon for France with her family where she obtained a Bachelor’s and an LL.M degree in Contracts and Corporate Law from Catholic University of Lille Law School, France. She obtained the Master degree in Law and Business Ethics from the University of Cergy-Pontoise in Partnership with the European Business School ESSEC, and doubled with an LL.M in International Commercial Law from the University of Dundee in Scotland.

Mrs. Nya is a member of the Paris Bar in France.  She is a member of the « Council for Lawyers in Business Ethics » created by the alumni of Law and Business Ethics Master to promote business Ethics laws, regulations and good behaviors and the Deputy General Secretary of “Melting Pot Development”, an organization that provides nutrition, education, and health assistance to African children.

Mrs. Nya is a gospel singer and has performed with Donnie Mc Clurking, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp and Yolanda Adams with her choir “Total Praise Mass Choir”.  She likes art and culture. She is a member of “Maddoc” and “Cultuma”, two associations aiming to promote respectively Soul music and Afro-carribean music. She is passionate about making an impact on her beloved country and the continent, advocating for increasing the role of arts/entertainment as a catalyst for unity and change.
